2004 Track Upgrade
19 May, 2004

The Ironbark Raceway startline surface was upgraded on Wednesday, 19 May, 2004.

As you can see from the first photo below, numerous patches had been applied to the track surface, confirming the need to have a strong, permanent surface to ensure longevity of the track. Upgrades were carried out to the startline so that a high quality of racing continues. These upgrades were carried out by Road Services and Boral Asphalt. Hot mix asphalt was laid from the startline roughly forty metres down the track. 6 metres of asphalt have also been laid at the entry side of the scrutineering shed.

Ironbark Raceway's start line has now been fully upgraded to handle your toughest vehicles!
Come out and test the startline for yourself at one of SWDRA's next events.
