2013 Track Upgrade
September 2012 to February 2013

Following severe track damage caused by three floods, it is time for the track to be repaired. The track will be repaired to the current ANDRA specifications. Drainage has been improved, new fences erected and new concrete is being laid from wall to wall.

After a massive fund raising effort and donations from generous supporters the Ironbark Raceway track surface was repaired over a six month period in 2012 and 2013.

The concrete removal fairies have struck. Great to be involved in a club when you see this happen.
This drain is under the 60ft mark. Its purpose is to drain any water which may get under the track surface. As you can see the drain is already working well shown by the water on the southern side of the armco barrier. Nicely done guys.
