South West Drag Racing Association Roma held a Test n Tune at their 1/8 mile Ironbark Raceway on Saturday, 10 July, 2004. Conditions were good for racing with a cool day and a dry track. There were 13 vehicles and 1 junior dragster racing on the day with a small crowd on the mound to cheer the racers on. Rance Chadwick pleased the crowd with full track burnouts in his 460 big block Ford F Truck after towing out a race car on the day.
Michael Schobbe ran a personal best of 12.25 seconds at 52.8 MPH in his Briggs and Stratton powered Junior Dragster. Chris Mackenzie drove a personal best 60 foot time of 2.07 seconds in his big block 402 chev powered Holden One Tonner. Chris Schobbe had the best light of the day with a .401 reaction time in Jo Barton's 308 powered Holden UC Torana.
The fastest pass for the day was from Bevan Murray in his small block 350 chev powered Holden LX Torana with a time of 8.12 seconds at 93.3 MPH.

Track ReportThe Track Committee advised that the track was improving after some more preparation and rubber down. The track got stickier as the day went on much to the delight of racers.
