Round 6, 5 September, 2009
Round 6 of the 2009 Ironbark Raceway Track Championship was held on September 5.
After an inch of rain on Friday, Saturday cleared up and 41 competitors battled away for another bunch of championship points.
Phil Markham, in the Junkyard Dog Racing 34 coupe, reset both ends of the track record to 4.854 and 140.01 mph. Phil backed up the speed record with a 147.25 mph pass. It was the first 4 second pass at Ironbark Raceway.
