Round 8, 7 November, 2009
Round 8 of the 2009 Ironbark Raceway Track Championship was held on November 7.
This was the final round of the 2009 Track Championship and four of the five brackets were still to be decided. Kenrick Marsh had already secured the Modified Championship and he proceeded to extend his lead with another win, defeating Laurie Fitzgerald in the final.
Junior Dragster was won by Tori Johnson, who has now won four meetings in a row at Ironbark. Tori was the Junior Dragster Track Championship winner.
Michael Curran won Super Sedan by defeating Ray Graham. It was Michaels third track championship round win in a row and secured the Super Sedan championship for him. Michael also went on to be crowned the Track Champion for 2009.
The Street final was between Anthony Owens and Debra van'tHof. Anthony defeated Debra and the Street Championship was won by John Owens, Anthony's father.
The most closely fought championship for 2009 was the Bike bracket. Four competitors were still in the race and all four fronted for the final round. Sonya Johnson defeated Ken Kight in the final and secured the Bike Championship.
